An air purifier will definitely help. You will need to consider the size of your room-each purifier should have info on how many square feet it covers and make sure that you get one with a HEPA filter. I suggest you try one like the Austin Healthmate which is much better made than the Honeywells and is very easy to maintain.

The first link goes to a really thorough Air Purifier Buying Guide which explains the many different factors to consider, which ones are dangerous (such as the Sharper Image ones) and how to choose the right one for you.

The second link is just a really solid air purifier which comes in standard and junior size.

yes u shud get one for summer allergies – good in winter as well. — but remember to clean out the filter – if u dont – u r just breathing it over n over with no help and it can make u ill.

orick puts out a great one. so does sharper image.

It should help because as pollen and unpure air enters your room , it will get purified and basically "germ free" . This should stop summer allergies from keeping you up or so and so in your bed room.

This video actually proves why every air purifier in that store doesn’t work. If there are over 2 million particulates inside a store with all of those purifiers running, none of them are working. Who cares what the particle count is right outside the filter…we don’t live inside the machine, we live in the room.

I’m anxious to get mine-I bought an IQ air.I paid for it already from Gerry the Consumer Reporter 13 days ago,I’m still waiting for it to come.He offered to send me the tracking number through my email when I purchased this,and I said that would be great I have asked 3 different times now for this number,I have yet to receive it.His wife has been kind enough to call me back and leave messages,but no tracking number.I’m told possibly tomorrow the IQ Air will come.I’ll post when I receive it.
