Things to do with an ionic breeze/pro -Episode 1 Ionic Oscillator

Saturday, September 4th, 2010

after taking apart an ionic breeze,I’ve decided to show some experiments on what to do with it. For this episode “the ionic oscillator”. This is a very simple setup, just a thin copper wire next to a piece of foil. the wire is attached to the negative, and the foil to the positive. the negatively charged wire is drawn to the foil until it arcs, losing its negative charge. then the spring action of the copper wire springs away from the foil until the wire becomes negatively charged again, repeating the cycle….I.E. an oscillator!
